Recently escaped Berlin then Vienna and moved to a Nordic country.... result: not a hint of racism, pleasant interactions with people, people are polite and mind their own business.... NORMAL BEHAVIOUR.

I honestly advise all those in German speaking countries: try to leave...the people there are racist, bitter, rotten and f***d up and if you stay too long you run the risk of accepting this disgusting behaviour as normal. ITS NOT NORMAL.

In Austria and Berlin I would get hassled daily racially by the folk, here I have zero stress and everyone is cool and polite and leaves you in peace.

There is more to life than constantly being annoyed by those envious, unworldly, racist, cretins and fools who live in Austria and Germany.

GERMANY; AUSTRIA AND SWITZERLAND ARE RACIST HELLHOLES LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN!

I wish people would stop using the racist tag so freely. My best friend in my country is a black guy, has been for many years, but I never think of him as black, white or beige because he fits in seamlessly with our culture, I believe most people labeled as racist are actually culturalist. I have no interest in black-culture, African-culture, Norwegian-culture, Timbuktu-culture, Montenegro-culture, etc etc etc. I'm sure they're interesting while visiting for a holiday, but it takes a lifetime to get to grips with our own culture, taking into account all the subtleties, turns-of-phrase and idiosyncrasies that we learn by osmosis from day one. I don't care what people's skin colour is, or what their race is, but don't expect me in my own country to have to enjoy your culture's subtleties, turns of phrase and idiosyncrasies, if your don't want to adapt to your host country's ways, better that you leave and enjoy what you already know.

No matter what country you go to, people will find you interesting for a moment when they first meet you and will be polite and tolerant for awhile, but if hordes of people from your culture invade their space, all peoples from all cultures will become hostile if the invaders don't integrate.

So stop with the racist tag, in fact, a black-African guy told me that Africa is full of racism between all the different countries that make up Africa.

So, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. The best way to enjoy Berlin is as a tourist, and then leave, never try to fit in here because their culture is crap and you'll never be happy, especially if you do try to fit in because their culture is based on rudeness, hostility and pathetic humour, so leave them to it and just move on to a culture you love, or just go back home.

"I wish people would stop using the racist tag so freely." - what the hell are you talking about? Racism is racism and it is extreme in Germany and Austria compared to other countries. You sound like a
German who doesnt like that your country is being called out fo its racist ways.

"When in Rome do as Romans do" - In Germany that means being a miserable racist female genitals and ppl should not even go there as tourists....those snivelling, miserable racists do not deserve the money of the foreigners they hate.

"So stop with the racist tag" NO I WONT STOP. GERMANY AND AUSTRIA ARE RACIST AS HELL AND NEVER LEARNED FROM BURNING 6 MILLION JEWS.

2 posters above is a Cherman. Clearly you have no idea what the definition of racism is. You also don’t understand how actual multicultural cities operate. Nobody cares if people integrate or not. It’s none of my business if a bunch of asians moved to canadian cities and didn’t integrate, for example. You know why? Because I don’t think of it because I have one million other things to think about during the day and foreigners are not one of them. People from all over the world immigrate to canada and guess what, some “integrate” and some dont, but honestly, I never think about it because it’s none of my business

I meant 3 posters above. Anyway arguing in circles with germans is not worth my time. They will never understand what racism is, will constantly be racist and then tell you what is or isn’t racist, because they are clearly the experts on it. Not someone like me that comes from a society where we have more open discussions about racism. Germans need to get over themsekves, they are literally decades behind the rest of the western world

Let me continue.. for example
POC “I experienced racism in Germany. Germans acted in XYZ manner towards me”
German “there is no racism in Germany. You are racist towards us Germans!”

Point 1) gaslighting, denial, stonewalling, silencing
Point 2) reverse racism does not exist

But try to say that to germans and it’s like talking to a wall and making yourself insane in the process. To live in Germany you basically have to accept that up is down and stupid is smart and their way or the highway.

Don’t bother, it’s not worth it. Just leave.

And also one final point: the whole integration thing is bullshit. You can clearly see that second and third generation Turkish are segregated from German society even though they grew up in Berlin and speak fluent german. So they really need to stop with these games as if you could be integrated as a foreigner. They don’t actually care in general to do the work as a culture, if only to make up or appear a certain way to the rest of the world. For example, merkel letting in one million refugees doesn’t change the systemic racism . It’s more of a show for the rest of the world . See, we are good people, we let in one million refugees. Ok. So now how are you going to help them adjust to life in a new country? How are you going to employ them? How are you going to change things in the society such as in discrimination laws (the first one only passed like 2 years ago lol!). You know?

Imagine a city of all gays, who would dig the roads, who would do the toilet plumbing and build the buildings, what? a bunch of mincing queen waiters and amil-nitrate sniffers who get home at 6.00am after a night of indiscriminate sex in the bushes. Gays on their own island would scratch each others eyes out within three days. The last place I'd ever live is in a gay neighbourhood. No one wants miserable, whining, sarcastic, victim-mentality, uppity morons with a superiority complex to hide their inferiority complex, as their local community, unless they are an SJW, virtue-signaller.

You want to be gay, then be gay in your own community, no one else is really interested in your 'culture', except as a freak-show oddity. So stop rubbing it in people's faces and shoving it down their throats, so to speak, they're just not interested, they have their own concerns, like keeping their children safe from perverts.

Imagine hating everyone around you. Being genuinely happy only when others suffer. Shouting to complete strangers for doing something that’s against the rules. Kissing your govts butt because you genuinely believe they’re always right. Thinking you know best. Not willing to learn anything new. Hating changes and fighting them hard, even when they benefit you. Stepping on people for 10€. Selling your own mother for another 10€. Hating anything and anyone that’s different. Being a total racist but having to hide it because the govt says so. Hating anyone that seems to make more money than you or has a better job / house / car than you. Complaining all the time and being eternally miserable. Communicating only with 2 people you have spent your whole life with, then stop talking to them when they’re of no use to you.

Child of The most high Exactly, we all know well how Germans can be! Not everyone but the majority...
They view themselves as higher than others (even though reality showed all of us that they're not...) and by us coming out and sharing our experiences makes them realize they are not as superior as they claim to be, for that reason they get very defensive and try to gaslight us but all of us expats (specially mixed) know exactly how rude and unfriendly Germans can be!
In the beginning we try to look away, pretend it was just one bad person... But when it keeps happening again and again we can't deny reality anymore..
