Yep, I've bitten my tongue for a year as I've been told that my country is "stupid" and "irresponsible" and "inefficient" and how the healthcare system they seem to know so much about is so awful. Whilst these arrogant freaking potatoes sat there laughing at the misfortune of others (imagine laughing at other countries having high death rates) and wanking themselves silly about how they masterfully managed the pandemic, they forgot to organize any vaccines, they forgot to work out a plan as to how to vaccinate and they forgot to work out how they would ever prepare for "living with Covid". We now sit before another year, maybe 2 of lockdowns and misery and they STILL THINK THEY HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL. If people in this country weren't dieing at such a rate and I didn't voluntarily live in this shithole, I would be reveling in the Schadenfreude of it all.
Normality is a long way off. They are vaccinating at a snails pace, case numbers are rising exponentially again and the government are hellbent on discounting the effectiveness and safety of the Astra Zeneca vaccine (has nothing to do with Brexit though of course!). As it stands, we are more likely to see Germany go in to some sort of half state of lockdown for a very long time and people will just eat it up.

Here are my reflections after a year from leaving berlin
-I still think about Berlin on a daily basis and check this website to remind myself why I left
-my friends back home cant relate to my life (most of them, but some can, it just changed me a lot). This means I will be moving to a third city, because the ones that understand why I left here understand that, and they also understand why I left Berlin. However, my home city I do not want to stay in. So I will be starting a completely blank slate elsewhere....
- I have way more in common with my berlin friends, but I dont want to live in Berlin, because it is too hard
-I am happy I left Berlin
-I am still financially recovering from my time in Berlin. Getting by, owe about 8000 credit (maxed), but I am happy I left
-I am looking forward to new chapter whenever I can afford to

Actually, AFD people I spoke to in Dresden are the most polite and well spoken I've met in all my time in Germany, don't believe anything you read in Lefty media, talk to them yourself and then make your mind up, everything they said made sense to me. Support them , they're the ones trying to save you from globalist monsters who want to destroy cultures all around the world by pushing their multi-cultural BS to make it easier to shift cheap labour where they want it, to make more profit. .
I slowly get to understand how Germany constantly fuels its racism.
All the foreigners the average German has ever communicated with are either restaurant staff in a holiday resort in Egypt or low qualified foreigners immigrating to Germany (apart us of course haha). Germans can "control" these encounters (holiday destinations and activities, asylum policies) so they can nurture their racism thinking "well all foreigners are like that". They are not interested in meeting other types of foreigners apart the mentioned waiters, taxi drivers and asylum seekers.
They do not want to accept that every country in the world has more qualified, smart, nice, successful people than Berlin will ever have. They do not want to meet successful foreigners because this would have them question their own racism and feelings of superiority! And it would show them how miserable they are living!
