Here are my reflections after a year from leaving berlin
-I still think about Berlin on a daily basis and check this website to remind myself why I left
-my friends back home cant relate to my life (most of them, but some can, it just changed me a lot). This means I will be moving to a third city, because the ones that understand why I left here understand that, and they also understand why I left Berlin. However, my home city I do not want to stay in. So I will be starting a completely blank slate elsewhere....
- I have way more in common with my berlin friends, but I dont want to live in Berlin, because it is too hard
-I am happy I left Berlin
-I am still financially recovering from my time in Berlin. Getting by, owe about 8000 credit (maxed), but I am happy I left
-I am looking forward to new chapter whenever I can afford to
if you live here long enough do you ever stop getting shocked by the things that happen or is it just not-stop schocking?
imagine coming from a poorer country where coming to germany was making money hahahaha
AFD is the only way.
Actually, AFD people I spoke to in Dresden are the most polite and well spoken I've met in all my time in Germany, don't believe anything you read in Lefty media, talk to them yourself and then make your mind up, everything they said made sense to me. Support them , they're the ones trying to save you from globalist monsters who want to destroy cultures all around the world by pushing their multi-cultural BS to make it easier to shift cheap labour where they want it, to make more profit. .
I slowly get to understand how Germany constantly fuels its racism.
All the foreigners the average German has ever communicated with are either restaurant staff in a holiday resort in Egypt or low qualified foreigners immigrating to Germany (apart us of course haha). Germans can "control" these encounters (holiday destinations and activities, asylum policies) so they can nurture their racism thinking "well all foreigners are like that". They are not interested in meeting other types of foreigners apart the mentioned waiters, taxi drivers and asylum seekers.
They do not want to accept that every country in the world has more qualified, smart, nice, successful people than Berlin will ever have. They do not want to meet successful foreigners because this would have them question their own racism and feelings of superiority! And it would show them how miserable they are living!
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Berlin is a madhouse
Germany’s loo
I try one more time to explain what I meant to say. It is quite curious. While maybe it is no issue for you. There often are low things people say. And they don't just say it randomly but it is surprising. Usually there is something else prior. For example you might be buying cigarettes at a gas station and the dumb person as you "blue ones yeah?" When in reality he is not dumb but a sucker. He feels that. Emotionally motivated. I mean it is still dumb! Such things happen a lot. And you might have brainfarted a yes to it, which is alright too, but not if you feel the other way. So long story, this would confuse you, disconnect you whatever you wanna call it, plus it's a sucker move. And then the actual thing. While you feeling a bit confused he asks you if you have a light. Like fukking asks you this. And it doesn't feel good. Especially if you would say a genuine response out of confusion. But also! - and now comes the point - if you would put effort with what to say. But the thing you would put effort with also is what you actually would say! And this is how one gets out of touch with one's natural things. You would probably say that it is none of his business, or ignore it or whatever else. But with effort, that is not what you would do. And so it gets overlooked that you would be actually angry. I mean feel it through saying: That's absolutely none of your FUKKING BUSINESS!! It feels good. It feels right. It's like he needs that. The anger is for the sucker move, for the closeness, the intrusion. This is what gets overlooked if one can only think of effort, after such low sh.it affected one, thinking what to say. And these things are so bad Because! they are so low. Because the lower it is, the more it hurts if there is effort or a confused reply. Because it is so low and what that could cause is why there is anger. Otherwise it feels absurd, why be angry with such a thing. But the thing is it is whatever, the reply. I mean not really whatever since it is the fitting reply. But you don't like reply it on the same level as if that was a legit thing to ask. And yes he did not ask you from care. I felt anger for: this sh.it. Sh.it being something low to undermine you, like a hoop to jump through. Having put effort. And the thing is it is stupid of him. He only doesn't know that because usually noone gets angry. He is so leaned out but he does so because he feels it would work. And when you know he would do so, then you would maybe say something light, laugh about him, while that is tricky because such suckers do feel that and then they don't do it. So the only thing that comes to mind is to actually learn what one would say by heart. Not the sense of it, but just like a vocabulary. It's true, that it is actually so hard to learn what one would say because one can't see any reason for that and it would feel off. But if you struggle with that and stuff confuses you, then I guess that's a good idea, so it will come up. You just gotto remember that you don't need learning in the sense of that you don't know it yet or such. But because of the confusing sh.it. It's such a boundary cross and that's when anger kicks in, to keep the shi.t out. And you gotto reply among his lines, you know what I mean. You don't even want to or care. As for the point, again, I meant to clarify this thing of why such a low thing can be so harmful and how it can undermine the soul you know it's really sad. While you would laugh if it doesn't affect you, there is no contradiction.
But it is not the case that it would always be such a shout. But of course I don't have to tell anyone that anger can be "more calm" too. It simply is straightforward for how it feels. Or there are so many other situations where you would say something else. Another point I forgot to make is that there is no going about that he sucks, while you might call him a sucker too, while that reply takes care of it. And I don't mean that he is consciously doing that. Who knows what he is thinking, it doesn't matter. If you can't figure them out, that's a good thing, you got your feel. And yeah as for that, we are in fact not only conscious beings but it is part of our nature to also be unconscious or subconscious. What I mean by that is, your feel (which is fully you, not something outside of you or unknown within) might know better than what currently might be on your mind. In these cases if you go with the feel, your mind then goes there too.
Maybe that's not at all what I meant to say. I think I was confused. I think I meant to make a point overall, that is though not really needed. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to it. I am sure if it was something truly good, it would been well received. So since that didn't happen I am sure I must been of with something, even though there is probably something good behind it in its origin that is though kinda lost within something overall low. Of course I don't expect you to have a clue about everything, so if you respond as you did to me that is enough to see that I must have been off.
I am so happy I never grew up in a monoculture like Chermany. They can say all they want about my home and insult me for no reason but I know the truth, they are brainwashed sad people
“You are in Germany u must follow ze rules”
Then take that same Cherman and place in another country and their magical rules disappear.
Why all the complaints about Berlin, what about its cuisine, for example, curry-wurst, doner and... um, er, oh yes, Mate.
The food in berlin is astonishingly mediocre. I think it's because they don't have to compete. The natives have no palate, the tourists are just looking for a freaking place to sit down, have a drink, use the bathroom (because there are no benches, public restrooms, or water fountains in Berlin because we can't have nice things) so a restaurant can serve whatever potato-and-brown-sauce poop it wants to and everybody says ja hum sehr lecker. Go to either coast of the US to get food that will actually blow your mind, centuries of immigrants founding businesses and competing with food and genuine hospitality, makes something truly special. I only see that kind of hustle in Neukolln like Sonnenallee, yeah you see what the difference is there.
German efficiency is the biggest scam of all the countless German scams in it's PR to recover from holocaust
The myth of German efficiency was started by the British, pre-WW1. When their empire was waning, they saw the prussian empire getting industrialized and they got scared that the prussians would modernize faster, invade, and knock the brits off their imperialist pedestal. It's nothing more than imperialist-envy. When I learned that context, it helped me to laugh at the absurdity. It's a total myth in the modern age. I've seen other countries have way more efficient bureaucracy and infrastructure than germany.
I don’t know what happened. When I first arrived in Berlin I loved it, by the time I left I saw it completely differently. Why does the city do this to people? It’s so broken
If people are so miserable and angry in Berlin while they are young, I wonder what they are going to be like at 40,50. Sorry, not everyone wants to stay in your city and be dirt poor and miserable forever. the joke is on them, because they may be miserable, but that is the fate they are stuck with.
Rich kids pretending to be poor
everyone in berlin pretends to be someone they're not. Rich kid, pretending to be poor. Expats, pretending to be German. Artists, pretending to be professionals. Professional artists, who move to Berlin and don't tell anyone they hardly get paid anything, so to look successful for those back home. Everyone trying to be something for the Berlin cred. And tell me, what is the Berlin cred, when it is built on a facade? Better to move to an actual city where you dont have to pretend, but I assume that would entail a bigger level of risk and some growing up.
even if you've been your whole life in Germany you can see and know that it is a bad joke, the Potsdamer Platz. It is the only place in Berlin that feels a little tiny tad like a tiny bit of a world city. Really. for ants. But it is absolutely nothing compared with cities in other countries. Ridiculous how Berlin calls itself Weltstadt. As if. It's a dirty little village with backward morons in it. It has zero the flair of actual world cities.
I’m so glad I never married a Cherman
