Keep seeing people here say Berlin or Germany has the best marketing of any country ever. Well, according to this report here it's true:
www.tichyseinblick.de/daili-es-sentials/wieviel-die-bundesregierung-fuer-werbung-ausgibt/

It says that the amount of money Germany spends on advertising has increased 400% since 2013 and in 2020 to over 60 million euros per year, and in 2020 they've already spent at least 93% of what they spend in all of 2019.

It got me thinking. Back in 2013 I never heard anything about Germany. Never heard everyone falling over themselves about how great Germany is and how amazing the free education and health care and how everyone here is slim and beautiful and blah blah blah.

They are unable to question.. if anyone with a shred of authority says something it is repeated as gospel... I remember when my daughter was 3 and a bit ill one winter and the doctor said she needed an inhaler... sterioids basically.. and I said a BIG FAT NO to that and my Cherman wife just went all bat poop crazy at me like I was somehow spouting blasphemy... A German Doctor said it so it MUST be the only way... The Doctor in question was educated in the former East, had never updated her training and was spouting the same nonsense that she had been since the dark ages becuase some other authority figure told her it was the only way... Idiots... I showed them all the medical journals and information to the contrary but it was written by American and Brits so was therefore discounted.... Complete idiots

It's amazing how Germans think they're exceptional in the medical field. They still prescribe novaminsulfon for pain even though almost every first world country on earth has banned it for killing people. But all the research is published in English so Germans just pretend it doesn't exist.

You are probably like me, you love a challenge and don't like being defeated, but trust me, everyone who lives in Berlin is defeated, there are no winners there. I tried for years to crack the code, until one day I finally realised there is no code, it's just a city of lost people leading each other and getting more losterer.

Wtf? Why the hell would you return to hell on earth? Is coronavirus lovkdown making you suicidal? I was thinking hard about leaving last year and the year before that but I thought I would give it one last try. 2nd dumbest decision of my life (AFTER the decision to move here, obviously).

The lockdown has definitely played with my head, as did my time in Germany. When I decided to quit learning German and get out of Germany, I instantly felt better. It was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. But I also felt defeated, like the place just really got to me. I also feel that moving there was a poor decision and I honestly don't know what makes me think that going back would fix anything, and yet I keep thinking about the place. Someone on this page has mentioned Stockholm Syndrome and I think in my case I might have become a victim.

I was invited to drink with someone I met in Kreuzberg so yea I took the challenge and stopped being anti social in Berlin because man these people are so freaking rude and I am originally from American where if you are going to be rude or talk poop just hope you can back it up. So I went into this guy house for a beer and good lord the house was disgusting asf. Trash bags everywhere smelled funny poop stains all over the place I immediately felt felt sick. I text my friend to tell him to call me to say he need a ride so I can leave because I really did not want to hurt his feelings. My friend called me and I dipped instantly. The next day he came over my house to drop off something and he was so surprised that my house smelled good and look organized. Now tell me why don’t people here keep up with their hygiene I think that’s the FIRST thing you take care of when you wake up honestly

Today I saw a couple of young French tourists try to ask the driver of a bus if it was going to the stop they wanted to. He just shook his head and avoided eye contact. So they got on the bus and asked at the plastic divider and he just ignored them. I tried to help them and apologized for how rude people in this city are. Normally if someone said "Everyone in this city is an asshole" the other person would say "No, no, I have met some really nice people here" but when I said it they said "Yes, we were just in a restaurant and the waiter was sooo rude. Do they all hate tourists here?" I feel bad for anyone who comes here for vacation.

The thing I love best about Christianity is that it's based on simple principles.

Jesus says in the bible that any fool can love their friends, but it takes a wise person to forgive their enemies.

Berliners would never understand this profound truth.

He also said, do not be like the heathens who make a grand show of their faith, but pray humbly in your room in silence and there your prayers will be answered.

Unlike Muslims who make a huge show of placing their mats in Berlin parks and airports etc and make sure the whole neighbourhood is woken from their wailings that sound like someone has an upset stomach.

I don't follow any religion, but if I have to choose a belief system, it will be christianity every time.

True, it's because of their traditions, they don't want to come into the 21st century, many of them still live with medieval ideas and superstitions. So many countries touching each others borders wit a history of betrayal, killing any possibility of trust, suspicion is bred into their children as well. USA and Australian pizzas are far better than Italian pizzas because people are not bound by tradition and free to think outside the squares.

I LOVE MODERN CAPITALISM, PHUCK LEFTY SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM.

I don't see millions of people clamouring to get into China, Russia, Iran or Nth Korea, they all want to come to the New World. Europeans need to grow the phuck up.
