I was invited to drink with someone I met in Kreuzberg so yea I took the challenge and stopped being anti social in Berlin because man these people are so freaking rude and I am originally from American where if you are going to be rude or talk poop just hope you can back it up. So I went into this guy house for a beer and good lord the house was disgusting asf. Trash bags everywhere smelled funny poop stains all over the place I immediately felt felt sick. I text my friend to tell him to call me to say he need a ride so I can leave because I really did not want to hurt his feelings. My friend called me and I dipped instantly. The next day he came over my house to drop off something and he was so surprised that my house smelled good and look organized. Now tell me why don’t people here keep up with their hygiene I think that’s the FIRST thing you take care of when you wake up honestly

Looking at share accommodation and rooms for rent in Eastern Germany was something I'll never forget. I'll never forget all the bad smells and the attitudes of the people who were looking to lease one of their rooms out. In a land of rich cultural heritage, it's criminal.

When they built it there were signs all over the place that said "Welcome to the world's most modern train station". Germans think it's an innovation because it lets in sunlight. Oh yeah, that was also before a huge metal girder fell off the side of it because there was a minor wind storm.

Today I saw a couple of young French tourists try to ask the driver of a bus if it was going to the stop they wanted to. He just shook his head and avoided eye contact. So they got on the bus and asked at the plastic divider and he just ignored them. I tried to help them and apologized for how rude people in this city are. Normally if someone said "Everyone in this city is an asshole" the other person would say "No, no, I have met some really nice people here" but when I said it they said "Yes, we were just in a restaurant and the waiter was sooo rude. Do they all hate tourists here?" I feel bad for anyone who comes here for vacation.

How stupid do you have to be to think it's appropriate to respond to someone asking to buy a ticket by shaking your head? Are these people actually mentally retarded? Because there's no other explanation.

The thing I love best about Christianity is that it's based on simple principles.

Jesus says in the bible that any fool can love their friends, but it takes a wise person to forgive their enemies.

Berliners would never understand this profound truth.

He also said, do not be like the heathens who make a grand show of their faith, but pray humbly in your room in silence and there your prayers will be answered.

Unlike Muslims who make a huge show of placing their mats in Berlin parks and airports etc and make sure the whole neighbourhood is woken from their wailings that sound like someone has an upset stomach.

I don't follow any religion, but if I have to choose a belief system, it will be christianity every time.

True, it's because of their traditions, they don't want to come into the 21st century, many of them still live with medieval ideas and superstitions. So many countries touching each others borders wit a history of betrayal, killing any possibility of trust, suspicion is bred into their children as well. USA and Australian pizzas are far better than Italian pizzas because people are not bound by tradition and free to think outside the squares.

I LOVE MODERN CAPITALISM, PHUCK LEFTY SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM.

I don't see millions of people clamouring to get into China, Russia, Iran or Nth Korea, they all want to come to the New World. Europeans need to grow the phuck up.

This case depicts German mentality. When there is a problem, they pretend like It never happened and of course don't own It. These people do never accept their mistakes and can't take ownership of any problem.

went to a cafe to get a cake at 3pm with my bf, on bergmannstr, and we were working from home so needed to takeaway. I ordered a slice of cheese cake to the unfriendly server. I then decided we wanted to order something else, another slice of another cake. This is where I don't get this culture. She was so cross and aggressive towards me because I 'changed my mind' as in I decided to buy MORE. How dare I not come in there knowing I wanted 2 slices but thought I wanted 1 to share then decided to spend a little more and buy two slices... and inconvenience her and not be a robot knowing exactly what I will do a month before doing it because I didn't plan that at 15:04 on 28 July I will want to order two slices instead of one. She decided to punish me by seving me a slow as humanly possibly and then looked angry I handed her a 20 note. She then dumped the change on the counter and was the most unpleasant little troll imaginable. How dare I spend my hard earned cash there. How dare I change my mind... how dare she have to do.. HER. JOB. How dare I expect manners and simply to want to spend more in the business that employs her butt. The twisted logic in this bizarre town is just too much. I am working and paying an earth in taxes, yet I am punished daily by these pathetic, bitter, twisted, petty, jealous nazi trolls. Who agrees? Tell me I am not mad!!?? What the F?! Only in this city do I get questioned for having brown eyes cos I am a brit. Only here do people ask me why I look 'southern'... only here do people ask where my 'sources' are from... and I am white!!!!! Backward, fearful, parochial, provincial, backwater, simpleton BEASTS.

German cake is the worst cake I have ever tasted. Every cake is either over mixed and rubbery tough, or like soggy bread, or tastes like plastic. I had a "cheesecake brownie" where the cheescake was literally just salted egg! I still can't believe that I paid actual cash money for that gustatory insult.
Its a symptom of the the lack of sensory pleasures here. Its probably owing to their history. Also it is mediocrity. Thank you for listening to my cake rant.
