When someone waiting at traffic lights walks up tensely as if ready to go it means it will take another 10 seconds. Reasoning: It expresses absolutely nothing so no good could come from it. And it really can be annoying when you naturally rely somewhat on surrounding people as it naturally comes but no, you'd just stand there tensely waiting another felt 30 seconds.

I'll never understand why these retards will walk up and get in front of you when you're waiting for a light and then be slow as hell when crossing the street.

These people have no idea how to walk in public. They are slow as hell, stop right by the doors so nobody can pass, when you want to pass they jump in front of you, they stand on the left of the escalators instead of letting people walk past. When I walk up/down on an escalator on the left and ask them to let me pass they act as if I was the rude person. Oh and did I mention they are SLOOOOOOOOOOW! And why do they wait at a red light despite no car within a 10km radius?

And they're always standing in the middle of narrow walkways. Just standing around. Especially if you have a group of more than 2, they always spread out and completely block them. Always Germans. I used to think they were tourists from tiny German villages where it doesn't matter if you're an inconsiderate prick, but after coronavirus has basically killed Berlin tourism I've still seen it - perplexingly even moreso than before.

Also, I don't know why, but lately I have noticed people walk waaaay too close to me in public. I don't know if they're all desolate and desperate for human contact or what, but people have started walking by me with like a 1 inch space. Didn't used to be like this. What the hell is wrong with this city?

And one final rant: I like to look at google reviews before I go anywhere. I've noticed that in most places I look at nearly every single negative review is from another foreigner with their top complaints being rude staff, unsanitary conditions etc. Meanwhile Germans all give 4-5 stars. We are truly living in a different reality.

Or get really pissed off.

I love playing chicken with krauts on sidewalks, just look to the left or right like you don't see them and be prepared to walk into them if they don' move out of the way. In my experience 90% of the time they move at the last split second, the other ten percent when you do bump into them, just keep walking as though nothing happened, then about 7-10 steps away, look back at them and smile, then walk on.

Berliners are the rudest, most stupid people I've ever come across.

At the same time you still gotto remember that you are a good decent person. It'll make you feel off if you're not doing any of that. I surely never meant to be an asshole, I rather feels others would want that. So it can be confusing if it feels as if one was an jerk who would have to better himself. Very off way to see it and naturally opposed.

What is written above I feel is not good, pretend to not see them, it's a lie. While there is something good in it which is "seen but should not seen". If everyone would just mind their thing, there would be no issue. It is not unsocial to not wanna overly focus on passing someone on the street. People really exploit things though.

Let me write some things about this: I was walking over to the right, which was just normal social care meaning nothing weak. Both walked middleish. But the other one kept walking in the middle. What do you do? Bump him away? And I figured I would walk over to the left which reframes the situation. Pretty much I'd just take back what was never meant in such a way.

Then there were lots of situations where I stopped, no mind paid, because someone was first but then the other guy stops and it made me furious. But I then saw I cannot control the other one and it cannot be that this would give someone power. So it came down to I stopped because they were first, and then I walk because they don't wanna go.

Then there is some people who really play the game one too many times. Older people in this case. And yes I guess they need attention but it still be not good to let them suck. What I mean is you were walking on the right side and there is an older woman in front of you, walking on the left side her pov. It feels like what is she even doing there in the first place. And I walked over to the left and I really didn't feel to do so because I just evaded someone else. So upon having gone to the left side I look ahead and see she also went over and is now again in front of me! I walked back to the right and she passed me in this weird way, like she made me look at her that way. So I figured if I would test it, I would probably see that she went over when I went over and because of that I would turn back right upon her first move, which I didn't look at, or I just know. I literally would only walk left to then walk right again and this way her effort runs empty. It felt like she was attached to me.

Or people who stand in the way, I feel it is good to simply evade them early on, like the way in front of them is not safe to go. The longer you would take the harder it becomes.

Or there was another hilarious situation. 2 guys walk in front of me, to my right a bike path. So I was on the right side close to that path. And normally they should move left. But they didn't! It was like a tough guy with a "weak" guy. The tough guy wouldn't wanna walk over if the weaker one would done so. So the weaker one on the outside didn't make a move. I looked for a bike and of course no bike which turned out to be pretty good since it appeared as if I would put up with the effort and walk around them on the bike path. And I just couldn't do it, it felt wrong. Also from an option pov, often there is only 2. So I walked angrily over to the left and the weaker guy got a bit afraid and started to push over where the other guy though also had his direction since he didn't want to go to the left from my pov.

Just had to write this off my mind, You could say it just a thing about going with your feel and it is.

As for the older woman, I should just evaded her, it is just an example. I was just not feeling to do so since I didn't feel well and it felt like giving and giving. But now I see I might actually angrily do so because she sucked way more by me not doing so, it's like she wanted that.

  Anonymous wrote:

Ok, I have it now. No matter what, she should not be doing that. I'm pretty sure if you would care for her there she still would do that. There was another thing. The point at which someone had walked over. Meaning situations where you were first and the other one is to evade. When this point is crossed, it means that they won't do so which might be why you might feel to not bother with this and walk over. Because you merely expected respect. That's not a weak thing. And I did this. Interestingly the other one was also walkiing over but he then had to evade because I walked over slightly before he did. It's normal good things. Normal karma.

  Anonymous wrote:

Let me just get this right. One would walk over because care, but if the other one is also walking over there is nothing to care for so you naturally would not keep doing that and walk back. As I wrote it was about taking back something that wasn't meant like that.

When I first arrived in Berlin , I met a girl who needed a photo for her something-or-other, can't remember, anyway, I said "I'm handy with a camera, stand over here and I'll take a good poop for you and send it by email". Later, I met up with a German and said I helped this girl and showed them the shot and the reply was "So, you are taking work from professional photographers, how are they going to live if you take photos for free".

My stay in Berlin went downhill from there, but I stayed for the challenge of breaking the social code, but to no avail, it's impossible for an expat to understand the German mentality, impossible I tell ya.

These retards will do your head in, get out now, don't pass Go, don't collect two hundred dollars, just leave, NOW. I have a hundred other pathetic stories to tell, I'll leak them out bit by bit.

Actually, one was me riding my bike along a very wide footpath because there was no bike path on the road and this old gay guy said something in German as I was passing two metres away from him, I stopped and went back to say I couldn't catch what he was asking for, he said, "get out of Berlin if you can't obey the rules". I said "do you want me to get killed on the roads by the maniac Middle Easterners, there's hardly a soul on the footpath, who am I hurting, I'm not speeding, just casually sailing along". Then he started shouting at me in that Berlin way and I totally lost it, I was about to smash his stupid fking Berlin head in but the thought of the police stopped me just in time, at least it shut him up. But to this day I still have daydreams about smashing his stupid Berlin face to a pulp. So glad I'm out of that shthole, I now love my life, AGAIN.
