Can someone compare Mexico City with Berlin? Would be interesting. Reason I ask is cause I just skipped over it and it looks like chaos. More rude. And they dried the lake right off the bat. At least Berlin has beautiful green places and is not really 3rd world. But maybe M.C people are friendly. And somehow it makes a funny image if you'd put some of the rude eastern Berlin people into Mexico City.

It's been more than ten years since I left the City to never come back, but I come here, log in and see nothing has changed (the place still sucks, just now with a shiny new airport).
I was trying to get my bike from the U5 to U8 today and two lots of selfish third-world-type groups decided to come down the lift from the U8 when they were actually headed up, which meant there wasn't enough room for me to go to the U8 where they came from.

At first, I thought children are doing this as a prank. Yesterday, I saw a pensioner who collects pfand bottles opening trash from the bottom. Some people are so desperate here that they open trash cans throughout the city.
I can't drink beer in a park in mitte peacefully without some gypsy or pensioner asking me if they can take my can. If I say that I am not finished, they watch and wait till I am done with my drink. It's offensive and intrusive.

Do any of you feel agoraphobic in Berlin?
I go outside mentally prepared to deal with meanness especially glares and unwarrented comments. I feel like I can't breath and relax in this city even in my own apartment. Maybe it's just the city but Hamburg, Munich and Zurich I felt much more peaceful and confident. This city brought out my insecurities. I know I need to move out but it's complicated.
Whenever I leave this city, I feel like weight has been lifted off my chest.
It's always complicated but the fact is that this city will wear down your psyche and soul until both are threadbare. Do you really want to pretend you're satisfied being alive only when you're on vacation? Berlin has nothing of value to offer a person who has any capacity for introspection.
I am a psychic, and I have lived in Berlin 4 years because of some reasons. You don't believe me or not, it is no matter but I would tell it the truth , the reason why many people don't feel well in Berlin is THE ENEGY, it also related to the history, Germans they don't appreciate their ancestors , nature, invisible things so much, so the heavy grudges remains in Berlin.
I really recommend it is better to leave.
One thing I have noticed about Germans - every single German I have met without exaggeration - is that they all lack empathy and the ability to considerate human beings. They either cannot read social cues, facial expressions and body language or they simply choose not to. They all seem concerned only with themselves.
I like it better to call it they lack the perceptions that makes you feel empathy. It's closer at least to what is up. And overall I don't think it's a lack. They're all humans, many are "just" so addicted to being a vampire. Something that used to be human became a source for a replacement for the actual thing. It's a mix of being emotionally full (needing a let out) and needing energy that would be naturally there from normal interactions. Many are driven by their emotional needs and therefore not conscious. At the same time there is always things of life you could really reflect on, things you really better don't do, certain vibes you better don't vibe on cause it's just not good for you. But yeah people are caught up in the you have to be bad to win or such. They don't really get anything much. And I really think it's mostly about unexpressed feelings, they can be really strong and it can feel like day and night when you actually got back your connection to yourself, you sound like you shud sound etc...
