It's health insurance that keeps Berlin poor, and turns German into little sooks who go to the doctor even with a little sniffle. In the last 6 years, I've had probably ten health problems that Germans always say I d=should go to the doctor with, but I just wait them out, eat better food or take vitamins and they always clear themselves up. I avoid doctors like the plague, they are usually narrow minded and have no idea of nutrition in health.
German doctors seriously prescribe herbs and homeopathic elixirs for serious medical problems. If you're an average full-time employee then you're paying €250 per month for the privilege (yeah, your employer is directly paying over half of that for you but it's still money you have to earn). And you also do not have the option of switching to private insurance unless you are self-employed or earn like €60K per year. And considering the fact that public insurance has virtually zero dental coverage it's all pretty laughable. And how do Germans deal with it? By making fun of people with clean, white teeth, of course.
Even young people are going to the doctor here because they have a cold. The health insurance here is out of control. People have to work a whole day per week for insurance, that's 4 days a month, after tax. Here you also get taxed 19% of everything you buy, so with wages tax, buying tax and health tax, you are lucky if you come out with 50% of your earnings, there are other taxes as well.

I think Berlin was a good place to live in the 80s-90s, and even into the 2000s. The thing that has ruined Berlin is that it has become too hip, too fashionable, too popular. So you have a massive influx of people from ALL OVER THE WORLD coming to it. If you blame the refugees, you are a racist piece of poop idiot. There is an acute affordable rental housing crisis now: this is what makes Berlin such a pooping place to live: there is always 20+ other applicants for every flat or even room to rent. I moved there last March, and after a whole month of fruitless flat/room hunting (1000 euro or less), I gave up on Berlin and left. I have no regrets leaving. The health insurance system in Berlin/German is also horrible: 400/month! And goes up from there as you get older, unless you can get into public system and have an employer co-pay, have fun shelling out 500 euro per month for health insurance! There is no way a self-employed person can make it there. Sadly, Berlin is now an overpriced 'hipster' city. Good bye Berlin. Glad to have finally got you OUT of my system for good.

By the way, if you are a freelancer, check out Care Concept for freelancers before getting stung by a broker for huge amounts on money. Care Concept is a product sold by Hans Merkur, only for a maximum of five years and only for freelancers, very cheap. But there other policies are good value as well, and the best thing is, they actually pay up when the bill comes, I know, to the tune of €9000, I only had to pay €150.
It's worse in every major western city right now with most of those issues. Maybe the refugee/migrant situation isn't as noticeable elsewhere but other cities are more expensive, get people from all over, get too many tourists, etc. The health insurance situation is one of the major negatives though that is better in most other countries in Europe, it's only worse in the US and maybe Switzerland and the Netherlands. That's what happens when people keep voting in center-right/right/far right parties to power though. Their long term goal is privatization and to make people hate government services in the meantime. Health insurance problem is worse in the US?! Don't make me laugh. The average American pays about $125 more per month for health insurance than the average German (based on available statistics) which is pretty much exactly the difference between a median individual US income vs a German one. The biggest difference being that healthcare in the US is about a million times better than German healthcare. Hospitals in Germany are like modern day freaking concentration camps.
The healthcare most Americans get is not better. It's the rich who can buy access to top doctors with cutting edge treatments not covered by insurance. For everyone else, their doctors and what they are offered is about the same. The issue is the costs can vary greatly. If you have no job in the right state, you can have everything paid for but only a few doctors will accept you and they're often the worst and have long waiting lists. If you have a part-time job, you may have to pay for expensive private insurance on your own with no help from the company. With a full time job, your company may be generous and pay for an expensive, decent plan (you still have to contribute some, plus pay copay costs) or they can get awful, expensive (for the employee) high deductible plans that may cost them more than if they were to have no insurance at all (if you don't need a lot of prescriptions and doctor visits). Still, Germany's insurance system definitely isn't great compared to other EU countries.

The cost of living keeps going up while wages/salaries don't keep up, so more young people put off having kids and more just don't. It's not surprising those who live basically on government assistance and have time are more likely to have kids. They may have a poor life but they know they've basically reached bottom financially and can get enough assistance to raise their kids while the middle class people are busting their butt just to pay for themselves to survive.
It's not "feminism" that's the issue. It's only an issue for women that maintain a traditional mindset that they're always supposed to be dating someone earning more and higher status than them. They may be feminists in regards to work opportunities for themselves and being treated equally elsewhere but live in the past in terms of how they view relationships. It will take time to get beyond that, but the answer isn't going backwards and most women can't afford to anyway (they too must earn income to survive or else live on government assistance).

I was a very healthy person before living in Berlin. I had no health issues, and was full of energy. Since i moved here 2 years ago i slowly started to get more and more health problems. As soon as the depression started, my immune system started to go down, with that the lack of vitamine D and B 12 (No freaking sun or light most of the year), the stress maid it even worse and so on... No im spending my time between doctors almost twice a months, i have daily pain that no pain killer can fix, due to different problems, i have the energy of a sloth, and i developed health problems that gonna take time ti fix... i even had moments i thought i was going mentally ill and crazy...I'm leaving the 30th of July and IM COUNTING DAYS to get out of this place, which is the worse ive been so far in my entire life. Can't wait to get my health back surrounded with normal people and environment and to get my mind like it was before. Berlin is the most f*cked up city EVER.

All the doctors here do is pass you off to some other specialist who has no real skill in determining anything. I'm convinced that about 50% of doctors in Germany need to be sued into financial ruin for malpractice.

OP: I'm pretty sure most if not all Berliners you'd randomly encounter on the street would idolize you for being so brave say that men are the biggest threat to the world so what does this have to do with Berlin? The kind of person you are describing is an anomaly in Berlin.

Can I relate this to the passive aggressive German Men who claim to be well balanced citizens of the world but go off the f&%*ing handle like spoiled children having a tantrum if you add too much water to the cooker than is required for a single cup of tea... or the controlling freakish "TomBoy" women who freak out and start clobbering you at the slightest mention that they may want a door opened for them or courteously offered entrance into a building before you... of course when the fire starts or the hostages are to be taken they will be first in line when the ladies and children are being given the lifeboats or free passes.
