Me and my wife came to Germany three years ago from Ukraine. After a year of job search, my partner decided to clean up households for money. Unfortunately, it almost always ended as we didn't imagine. One customer even attacked my wife for destroying her furniture. Some customers were very aggressive to my wife and refused to pay for the work done! Most conflicts with the customer were caused by minor little Things. After almost a year of terror, my wife ended up in psychiatry!!! Berlin is full of zombies! We hate it here!
A female friend of mine wanted to earn some money while she was studying in Berlin and tried cleaning homes for a couple of weeks. She told me that half the time there was a perverted German man who would sit around either half or completely naked while she cleaned or an irate German woman who was always yelling and watching her clean extremely closely.
Unfortunately I agree that Ukranians are not in the my ’nicest people’ top either, but from the brief description this couple only wants a chilled life and respect, things everyone deserves and need to be better people overall. We should take people one by one. And if someone is utter trash, you‘ll only seed better feelings in them with kindness, not hate. Sometimes people are poisoned with poop and if you look at Ukraine the propaganda and influence is completely nuts on that. They have a weird hating on other nations going since they‘re in school, they don’t respect minorities, are supremacists, have nazi parades in Kiew (Yes, in the 21st century) etc. That doesn’t mean I‘ll label every Ukrainian I‘ll meet. I might be biased, yes, but when someone will break the stereotype I‘ll have even a better impression. Be nice, not a Berliner!

Try Porto or Liverpool or Manchester, gerat people who once you meet a coupe will welcome you to their friends and you'll be asked to parties and opportunities will come up, great people in the North of England, with a wicked sense of humour. Cheaper rent and you can buy houses or apartments very cheap. You mightn't make your fortune there but you won't want to leave, except maybe in the winter.

I checked out Lisbon, but wages were too low. High rent is OK, as long as wage is also high:) I pay 950euros for my apartment in Berlin (I know) but I also make not bad mobey. What Berlin do you live in where there is an alternative vibe?
