YES GO AWAY FROM BERLIN YOU F*CKING GYPSIES AND MUSLIMS !!!
Hahaha so apparently you only have 2 brain cells left my dear.
For your information, not only Muslims and Gypsies are dissatisfied with Berlin. See, every human with a well functioning brain would hate the guts of this city. It's full of brainless, stupid people like yourself whose ignorance make us sick to the stomach... You are nothing but a sad little piece of sh.it
Berlin population: 3,562,166
WTF it feels like there are 20 000 000 million people.
My grandfather was right, he moved from Berlin to a small village in Austria. I'm going to do the same !
How about hundreds of jerks in Karl marx Strasse for a vegan burger and a female genitals d.j.from Vienna. Now thats freaking LAME.(while comedians are subject to legal censorship).Plenty of reasons to keep on hating..With the added bonus of Schadenfreude.Berlin is now the international headline joke around the world.Leaders in lame.I freaking love it.
This site is getting more and more lame. Sounds like people are running out of reasons to hate Berlin.
Besides...its Spring. The hate starts after the first week of "The Nothing". No shade fellow Haters, but lets face it, once you move to Berlin you all have the emotional range of Flora. Enjoy the Spring and get out! Do yourself a huge favor and Travel the rest of Europe if you can afford to, dont allow that insipid city to define you. Perhaps thats why so many are fed up? Ill be going on with my life no longer in that pit of a city and it's ridiculous people.
Berlin is a really nice city !!! I can take a sh*t on the streets and people will pass me like it's something usual ! WOHOO Berlin is my place !
As an ex-pat in Berlin one of the biggest kicks I got was producing a valid ticket every single time..and then watching them drag out an obnoxious/arrogent local Berliner who had no ticket.Pretty sad way to get my kicks I admit. But Berlin is a pretty sad place.
I got to know today that after 3 non paid BVG fines you go to jail.. Is this serious?
Yeah, how dare you try to fight the system. You should obey like the rest of the flock of sheep and pay those 10 cents extra that get added to the tickets every year for no coherent reason. Seriously, as long as you don't go out of your way and harm people (as those kind of people are the ACTUAL problem) I can't stop you. And if you're gonna say "oh but the people working for BVG already don't get paid enough!": my friend, this is an issue that they will need to stand up for. We're on the same side. A little far-fetched, but when you buy those tickets and keep giving them those extra cents, you're just encouraging them to keep freaking with us and their employees. Give it a thought.
Even though I hated paying taxes and services in Berlin (cuz services are poop and taxes pay for nothing) I always paid them. Simply because not doing so gives them a reason to harass you. I know it's ridiculous that 3 non paid BVG fines equals sentence and jail. But in oppressive places (like Berlin) ridiculous things can land you in jail, like torrenting a movie, mocking the Turkish president or in your case not paying fines. Just don't give them a reason to pwn your butt cuz they will be happy to do so. So just get it over with and live on (preferably in another place). I kinda feel for you because they tried to get me to court for buying the wrong ticket once on a train once even though I said I would pay the fine. Germans are paranoid and even more now that all the rest are terrorists.
Alright, I see your point there. And I agree. Of course if you are running into the risk of going to jail for whatever stupid reason you should think twice. Again, I can't stop you. I'd read up on it a little because I forgot my ticket several times there and only had to pay a fee. But idk if the law changed over the past couple years.
I moved out from Berlin and started living in Bamberg, what a beautiful place ! All I need is nature ! F*ck the people !
If you studied at Cooper Union, Rhode Island School of Design, Parsons, Central St Martins or Chelsea College of Art, you'll love it in Berlin. It's full of people who have no understanding of statistics, compound interest, GDP, tax evasion vs tax avoidance, macroeconomics... basically anything which doesn't involve electronic music, fass beer or world views from the Guardian. You'll also be more than welcome to talk about those topics, organise protests and do any other form of virtue signalling, without ever being able to solve the problem or percieved problem. You'll also be bank rolled by Munich and Frankfurt so you can continue acting like a teenager indefinately.
Indirectly you are benefitting. Unfortunately most of the money is not spent on applying new paint or bringing charm to the city. Without the Länderfinanzausgleich, Berlin would be even worse. I know it's hard to imagine. All those art collectives and dj squat parties are not going to pay for the city.

Can some of you Berlin hater guys, who lived or visited other German cities like Frankfurt, Köln, Kiel, Leipzig, Hamburg, München tell me if there is any difference between Berlin and the other German cities ?
All I see here is homeless punks, ugly graffiti, g***ies causing trouble, bad neighborhoods like Neuköln and Kreuzberg, people behaving like robots (someone said that in the previous posts) Da*n, my expectations were different from the reality. A lot of people say that Berlin does not belong to Germany and yeah, this is absolutely true, all this multicultural drama, I'm not sure if I'm living in Berlin or I'm lost somewhere in space. There was a guy who posted something on facebook like "If you are looking for the typical German culture, you wont find it in Berlin" so yeah guys my question is, is there still hope in other German cities ? Thanks and sorry for any mistakes I'm not that good with my English.
I mean, it depends what you are looking for. I moved out a year ago and live in a small town in the south western part of Germany and while people are a lot nicer and open in comparison, they still got a broom up their asses. I honestly don't know what "real German culture" is supposed to be besides being rudely blunt, drinking lots of beer, having a dark humor and general cynicism, being extremely distant and cold to others, always striving for perfection and being pretty close-minded on several areas in comparison to much more lively cultures. Protip: if you're from ANY nation in the southern hemisphere, you best stay away from Germany altogether. Your liveliness really won't be appreciated and before you know it you'll lose it and will be distant and emotionless like them.
Totally second the other reply, I lived in two other German cities, and whilst it was in many ways much better, there was still a stiffling unfriendliness, and conservative rule worshipping (Berlin seems to take this too far the opposite direction sometimes). They weren't fun places, but they were more liveable I guess.
I lived in another city in Germany and I didn't like it at all. It was all the same shite but with different skyline. I started to think that it was my problem but after I moved out of Germany everything was better up to now, I've started to forget Germany and I'm actually happy about it.
Can please some of you guys who lived for a long time in Berlin tell me, is it common the weather in Berlin to be so f**ckin bad ??? Gray sky, rainy each day etc ? It makes me really depressed :( In my country if the weather is bad, the next day is sunny again, but in Berlin the sky stays gray for months :x maybe that's why most of the people there have awful mood...
I have been almost hit by a car that was doing an u-turn while i was walking. When i started to scream to the guy he just drove away without saying sorry. You disgusting germans were cowards 70 years ago and nothing has changed, your absolute non-respect for human life makes me cringe
