I have been living in this country for slightly over 8 years and this country made me a worse person emotionally. I envy of my friends who managed to move to other "really" developed countries. (We all came here for master studies) I hope, my turn will also come soon. I am scared of dying in this country so much without enjoying the life.

It's freaking ridiculous second highest taxes in an OECD nation with absolutely no perks over any developed nation. Infrastructure is lacking, everything is expensive from transport to Housing, everything is subpar, and then we are taxed the poop out of and health insurance is such a scam here. No state healthcare, I dont consider this country to have state healthcare since it's just insurance company and acts like one with predatory pricing, un-affordable and kicks people out at a whim and doesn't cover those out of the system, such as the homeless. 400EUR from both your and your employers side go to it every month. This is separate from taxes which are already higher than countries that have health coverage incorporated into taxes. What a scam.
Do German's children ever go to school? Is it like two hours a day? How to they learn to read? To write? They seem to be literate, so I don't understand it.
I never understand it. Everytime I'm on the bus, anywhere in the city. It is swarming with school kids. I really don't get it. Usually there are set times from the places I've been and lived. But here there seems to be no structure. I see kids going home at 10am.
In my building, they seem to be up and shrieking by around 7 am, away until around 10 am then back and shrieking. Sometimes they seem to fornicate off again for an hour or two in the afternoon, but basically they seem to spend most of their days at home shrieking.
School is off this week but you're not wrong in general. They have like 4 hour days in Grundschule. It's just taxpayer paid babysitting anyway. Kids in German school don't learn anything. It's just basically teachers prodding all the nice blond Germans into higher ed prep while prodding all the foreigners into hauptschule. Even in HS you dont learn anything in German school - just how to pretend that school here is difficult. Good practice for when Germans go to college where exams are even easier.

Get it, this german Greens minster can hardly wait to go to war with Russia. "WE are FIGHTING a war AGAINST Russia". NOT, "Russia is fighting a war against us". B=Never trust a Greenie, especially in Germany.
Moscow have blasted such comments and even worse all across the board, even threatening the entire world with nuclear war. Annalena Bearbock's comment wasn't smart, but not a big deal either. This war could easily be stopped when the west would start to sanction Russua's allies. But they don't do anything like that, they do the opposite and sign trade agreements with them. Stupid.
I called a company this morning, they offer a Lebenslauf service. So I talked to this guy, his attitude sounded like I was asking him something truly ridiculous when I said that my CV is in English and that he doesn't speak English at all. I'm supposed to pay them 120 Euro, a potential lead, but talking to him he didn't even seem to care. I'm supposed to do abc123 and call back later to speak to my correct Ansprechpartner..
