Germans are extremely strict about rules when it comes to foreigners but they of course all hate rules. :/ I've witnessed a girl being hit in the face because she was riding her bike on the crosswalk by a German guy with his kid, both on their bikes on the crosswalk. She was then assaulted by the German people watching, told that she should go back to her country etc. Urgh, these people are beyond disgusting.
This is exactly what we have seen throughout the pandemic. Germans are, when asked, almost unanimous in their belief that harder and stronger Covid rules should exist. The reality however is that they are in favour of said rules, just as long as they only apply to everyone else except them. This nation is broken.
This City is so overcrowded and annoying.
Germans personal hygiene: what can I say. It is bad. I went home with someone asked him to shower and he still smelled. He said he had just taken a shower, but smelled like BO and piss! Asked him to use mouthwash, and his breath still
Stank!?
Don’t ever let Germany / Berlin gaslight you
11 year old kid Injured a tough female Berlin Cop lol. GW :)

Now that I've left Berlin, my life is falling into place. When I think about my time in Berlin, I don't even know what I was doing, besides jumping through hoops for the sake of being a part of the allegedly glorious German society, which offered me nothing.
Since 2014 Berlin became a shit, and guess why? YOU! Before Was so cool so beautiful to live here, people straight-forward but honest, which I prefer than the all smiles but hypocrite foreigners who landed in Berlin to run away from their poop hole. Again I'm not German, I doubt that a German would comment here, they seem to be above such trait de caractère. Mostly new immigrants who live here are only in Berlin because Somehow Berlin give them a status... But that's all. Other they are empty and F boring. Not only boring but also judgmental. Disgusting. Look do u want Germans to lick your ass, but they are not like you! You lick butt and for sure you are all smiles when you chat with a German or? As I said - HYPOCRITE
Ok yes you are right, every country besides Germany which are many who immigrated to Berlin are fake smiles. So germans are the odd one out, yes all the foreigners from all other cultures must all be wrong and germans must be right. Makes total sense. (That is sarcasm by the way, do you understand that with your advanced societal nuances, or should I just grunt and make weird noises and behave like a barbarian?)
I don't lick the but of no one, and I'm perfectly aware of how german people are, but you make an amalgame. How many foreigners I see here who are extremely arrogant and Stupid?! I see a lot. Because poop people exist everywhere and travel! So yes Germans are less emotional... But is that a bad thing? I don't think so! When I see foreigners who are drama queen and freaking offensive I really prefer someone who can handle their emotions. Germans are rude oh my God! And you that speak on the back, is not really f rude? Lol
My reply to Helga (two posts above): I'm from California. I'd like to say that your city (and country) has always been a poop hole, a fact that will never change. You Germans are sick, twisted f*cks. I wish the atom bomb had been dropped over your heads instead of Japan.
Dear Cherman girl,
Don’t you have anything better to do than harass foreigners? Why do your people enjoy doing this so much? Is your life really that boring you have to micromanage foreigners and what they do? Why are your people so eager to find out how much money one makes if one has a decent car? Why so much jealousy and misery? Asking for a friend
Let me throw some wood in the fire...
I am not OP, nor any of the posters above, but: I am Romanian.
Let the games begin, and let me here how I came here in search of a better life, stealing, uneducated and all that jazz.
Not really related, but I see too much hate towards Eastern Europeans and I thought I give you, lovelies, another topic.
What's a German name for a Karen, maybe Katrin. I think she has one valid point, best to go back where you came from, for your own sanity. What a piece of work Katrin is, complaining that people actually smile, it doesn't get any worse than that. Katrin, go and get help, Berlin has totally screwed with your head.
Sadly some of the posters on this site show the detrimental effect Berlin has on people, like the anti antifa guy, the man who goes his on way, the alexander psychotic, and now Helga and maybe the Romanian guy.
This city is shiite, but some people who post here would have a hard time anywhere.
This girl being Romanian explains a lot to me. Although I'm curious if she is not German-Romanian from the German minority in Romania. I've notices Germans love to say they are victims and take on identities as it pleases them. I lived 4 years in Berlin and now realised I stayed because I made so many beautiful friends amongst the foreigners. The entire time I went through horrific abuse from Germans who by the way are some of the most xenophobic people I've ever met and truly have extreme hate towards foreigners (which includes Eastern Europeans - they seem to see us as cheap tools to use in picking asparagus but whatever). I am Romanian too btw and have since returned home and was shocked to find this country invaded by expat Germans. They are everywhere and there's a very German ideology that caught on over here. So this Romanian lady sounding German is not at all weird to me anymore... Romania has been slowly colonised by Germany. There's even a German mayor in one of the major cities that is taking very fascist steps towards freaking up the culture over there. Also, us Romanians love to hate ourselves and see German culture as somehow superior and something to strive towards. It's quite sad to see.
Society is not obliged to deal with problematic individuals like yourself Helga. Foreigners, immigrants, queers, etc. are not responsible if you had also a problematic childhood or a serious story of abuse. So stop blaming people who are "different" than you, in order to cover your psychological complexities. Get help!
You guys are full of hatred, I am sorry to see Berlin made you this way.
You are a prime example of bullies, and I hope you find the light, man.
People who are so bitter towards others are miserable with themselves. When you mind your own crap and happiness, you don’t hate so much. Try it.
Find some hobbies, enjoy the sun, reflect.
Be nice (even with anonymous posters online, this poop can still damage) and honestly, you’ll feel better with yourselves.
It goes a long way...
The “Helga” girl is not Romanian, she did not post that, I did...
But enjoying your narrow-mindness and poor/aggresive judging.
I got exactly the reaction I was testing for.
Pretty sad, man.
Right. When an entire community expresses anger for the abuse and hate coming from a privileged community (in this case the Germans), then logically the abuse victims are the ones who need to take up a hobby and sit in the sun and enjoy life. Top notch gaslighting, 'man'...
I rented out a room to a german at one point and she turned out to be a psycho, a hoarder and when I asked her to leave she decided to squat the place. I lost a lot of money to get her out and I got out of it traumatized. While I was going through all that, every german I talked to couldn’t believe that she was german. They kept insisting that she prob has some sort of migration past as if germans are so pure and perfect and nice. I found out soon after that they actually do this a lot and she was not at all 1 in a million. I left Berlin a year ago traumatized and don’t plan on ever visiting.
Don’t get me started on the whole, ‘well that’s how we are, blunt and we are warm but have a hard shell on’. You mean, rude, mean, cold, psycho gaslighers. And we have to accept that as normal why?
I think, these people enjoy making the life harder for others(foreigners)
I am failing to find any other appropriate answer when I think about the necessity of dealing with endless paperwork, low standards which this country provides etc
I am set to leave as soon as possible
These people have no idea about marketing, otherwise they could make chormany an even more popular tourist destination by saying „come live the 80s experience again!“ Fax machines, cigarette ads everywhere and no decent technology! Live your myth back in the 80s in Germany
I wonder if any krautts read along here, do they still think their are popular in the world ? Fuckking Krautfucktards lol
People just hang out all day. I understand having friends is important but there is no work/life balance. And with an ever revolving circle of friends, what is the point exactly? Distraction from getting it together ?
Losers have to hang out together and drink/take drugs all the time because to be alone would be to actually take stock of themselves and what they want to do ie: what progress they need to make. Most will probably end up knocked up in a situationship and on kindergeld, slowly ageing in chermany
Why do they ignore people around them while walking?
Comments tells more about the character of people than about Berlin just disgusting, racists.
please give me a success story of leaving berlin to help me stay motivated.
Moved to Berlin after graduation in the hopes of finding a job and "making it". It is the capital, after all.
I didn't know back then that it is a sh1thole.
Spent almost two years barely making enough money for rent and food. All the while trying to find a good job. In the end I almost applied for a job as a dishwasher.
One day I realized that in spite of being fluent in German and holding a degree from a German university I'd never be seen as a person worth of respectful, tactful treatment because Germans are very racist but in denial about it. I came to the realization that I had never been happy in Germany and Berlin was as close to hell as I had ever been. I decided to leave. Quit my jobs, cancelled everything, bought a ticket and flew 10000 back to my home country.
Nowadays I am living in Poland, gainfully employed in the IT field, feeling happy about everyday, meeting tons of friendly people (Poles in Poland are generally very kind and polite) and happy that I didn't stay in Germany. Living in that country is not for everyone. As some Poles have told me "That is not a country."
