I’m not sure what’s weirder, the germans who hate foreigners, or the Germans who only make friends with foreigners yet don’t seem to have close friends even though they’ve lived here for many years

The problem is their distrust they have towards freaking everybody. I wonder what happened to them in their childhoods

I’ll tell you what. Soulless parents yelling at them for doing anything wrong, while teaching them no manners, no social skills, no emotions and no empathy. Now German parents don’t yell at their kids anymore, but they have nothing to teach them either

Hard to believe yelling in this society is socially acceptable way of handling conflict

It's a freak show alright, full of 'alternative' people who all look the same :o). The only thing they are alternative to is good manners, positivity, optimism and generosity. Berlin is a mental illness, if you don't believe me, have a conversation with a victim-mentality-Feminist, an AntiFa fascist, a drugged up addict, an a begging alcoholic, a pompous lawyer, a smart-ass checkout moron at Aldi-Lidl etc.

They are also alternative to loyalty, honesty and common sense. They are know-it-alls who are not interested in learning anything new from western people. These idiots actually miss the communist days.

Each day I spend in this country, feels like another wasted day of my life. This is exactly how I feel about my life here. I am wasting my time here without any good paid job, no career prospect and no flirting / dating / relationship even no friendship.

I can't stop thinking / dreaming about my life outside of Germany. I am hoping to leave in max 1 - 1,5 years. I am trying to establish my exit plan right now. Fingers crossed.

I could have much better life If I would not have came to Germany in the first place. Anyways, I am still younger than 30 and I am hold some hope for my future

Don't wait that long, trust me, you are going into the danger zone. Also, you are missing out on many opportunities in real cities with real people. Just leave, and things will work out for you.

I moved when I was 31, left when I was 33. I had my “30s” together beforehand but I also had this “now or never” thing. Anyway I’m glad I left, my life went downhill mostly financially, which I am recuperating slowly but more than twice as fast as when I was in Berlin. Soon that will be five times as fast. Already in one month I found a flat, now just need to pay off my debt. Anyway I don’t regret moving to Germany for the experience and some people I met, but I’m also glad I didn’t stick around. 2019 was so rough with money, I almost had a nervous breakdown

Germans don't even like eachother. Just watch how berliners hate souther Germans especially Schwaben with passion. That's why Germany is doomed to crumble, but before that happens they will gather together and concentrate their hate on the rest of the world to start WW3 or something.

Swabians? Oh no you get too far. Berliners hate other Berliners. They even hate themselves behind closed doors. But in public they have to be always right. So they hate everybody but it seems that they only hate foreigners because it’s allowed to hate them behind closed doors

Yeah that’s why they burn people’s cars... which honestly is freaking disgusting. You don’t know how hard that person worked. My friend drove a Mercedes into Berlin, I’m surprised his car never got torched. He was german but I don’t think they distinguish. Maybe he found a garage

I don't think there is anything wrong with the German language. People just often use it with no sense. If you take saying: What's so fukking important about it? the stress is clearly on "what". The "is" even is abbreviated. And of course. Because that is the sense of it. While a German would often say Was IST daran so wichtig? Makes no fukking sense and you can stress the word all you want, it won't deliver what you mean (unless you really feel the meaning I guess). So it's not the language...A language is always the same, it always means the same things of life. Furthermore, if you wanted to translate "What's so fukking important about it?" into German...it works just fine. Was ist daran so verdammt wichtig? All stresses are on the exact same words. what, fukking, important....was, verdammt, wichtig. It just doesn't go like VERdammt. But it's the same words. imPORTANT...you don't translate that with wichTIG...It's obviously WICHtig. Many German you will rarely hear saying: WAS ist daran so verdammt wichtig? The sense is just often off I think. It's not the fault of the language.

Why do Germans are so incompotent in their jobs ?

I have been reporting a German manager and that manager has no idea about the core components of product / platform. He comes up with random things relevant or irrelevant about an issue / request and just do empty talking. No contribution to issue resolution / request or whatever.

This country is so strange
