The rules of Germany were put in place to protect them. If you notice people walk around with full confidence that they want have their teeth knocked out. For women, the universal law is different. But for us men it is a unspoken rule. Never disrespect another man, ever! And never disrespect another man in front of his family or girlfriend. Every one who is from America know this rule. I don’t know about the UK but I think it is the same. You disrespect another man then his reaction to that disrespect is on you. Most German men have never had their butt beat you can clearly see that by their actions. That’s one reason I don’t invite my friends and family from the states here. It would be fights breaking out all over the city. My people would be thrown outta here from assaults.
Yeah, that's true. Abother thing I have noticed is that even people you'd normally have a pretty civil relationship with (family members of your partner, people at work, etc) seem to often enjoy acting like complete assholess when they notice that convention prevents you from retaliating.

Last year I visited Miami , Miami was full with arrogant French and Italian snobs and some of these „French“ are actually Maghreb arabs.

I didn’t, so I left. It took me almost a full year of subletting my flat out to people and living in another place to work and save money before going back, selling all my things and leaving my contract. Just look for work elsewhere, sell your stuff and find a subletter
I’m the above poster - I sold nearly 5-6000 euro of things including my kitchen. This helped me a lot and was more money than I thought I would have. I suggest everyone scale back (I’m assuming you own things you can sell and are on a contract). Honestly when I got the contract I was so happy after looking for so long, for two years straight my retartedd German bro neighbours had subwoofers blasting from the day I moved in. Refused to change, landlord wouldn’t help, police didn’t help, I felt i was losing my mind. Had to sleep in the. Bathroom many times to escape the bass. My landlord told me if I left germany I wouldn’t get my deposit back so I just finally after 2.5 years basically, didn’t pay the last two months rent and left. Took me a full year. The corona grant saved me
And as a side note it’s really sad honestly I went through this entire time without finding this website and reading your comment and this site makes me feel there were many other people who felt the same way. I mean my friends also realize it but they take so many drugs and have friends around that they have fallen into some kind of codependent situation . I still plan to go back and visit for the summers, but I have zero interest in integrating into German society or dealing with officials . As a tourist I am exempt from that .

Are you serious? I have friends in southern California where the music scene is undeniably better than here. And yet among my few friends there I know several people who don't spend all their times in drugged out stupors in dive bars/clubs and Coachella. I'm not asking why some Germans like music. I am asking why EVERY German spends all their free time in clubs and at festivals.
