Anyone know if Christopher Street day is canceled?
As a gay man myself I have to say I am glad it won't happen this year. The parade is not about equality and acceptance but about living fetishes openly, have public sex and just behave badly. It is a shame that this kind of thing is celebrated as it throws a bad light on everyone who is attracted to their own gender but has morals. It seems as if the CSD understanding is that when you are gay there is no need for morals. Straight people should accept that, otherwise they are called homophobic. No wonder why so many prejudices still exist though if the kind of behaviour shown at the CSD is considered to be normal by a huge crowd of homosexuals.
When I first moved here I went to CSD once because I thought it was a good thing to show solidarity. I really wish I hadn't. I am from a small town so I didn't have any idea of what awaited me. It basically just feels like a big group of sweaty Germans who grope random stranger. I saw many, many men just walking around and jacking off. On the floats I saw people having anal and oral sex. All this happened with A LOT of police everywhere. They all did absolutely nothing at all. I don't know if it's worse because it's Berlin but I will never visit another gay pride parade again.
Haha...a german told me today that the tourist minister of Italy once said about german tourists that they are the most disgusting people he ever met. The way they dress, behave, eat and talk..he said they are dirty trash. .hahaha...

The only healing practitioners that I know are doctors, nurses and physiotherapists in our modern world.

I must admit since lockdown i have had quite a few nice interactions with Germans in my hood. Like old Germans letting you go ahead in the queue or asking if you want help with the way. Lets hope it lasts!
This country makes you lower your life standards. People have no intention to go for an extra mile here.

I am sorry, but village people from Turkey are one of the reasons why Berlin sucks. The constant yelling (especially indoors, e.g. in shops), aggressive demeanour, and overall 'ghetto' attitude from these people contribute in making this place suck. And I don't get your logic here. You get triggered when you see a person with a headscarf on one of the pictures? Should I get triggered when I see people without a headscarf? This makes no sense. If you are not trashy yourself you will not sympathize with other trashy people. Simple as that.

I find it amusing to see Germans calling out Americans on their racism, yet very few immigrants in Germany either manage to integrate or actually want to. On the other hand, a lot of immigrants see themselves as Americans after barely one generation. What does that say?
Besides, nobody notices how African immigrants do so much better than "native" black Americans. They are so much more sucessful because they worked hard to emigrate and succeed in a competitive society that gives an opportunity to everyone.
In Germany most black people are invisible because they work menial jobs or can't get a job.
