The thing is you see so much graffiti all over the city that says "Smash the Fasch" or "Nazis raus" or "Fuck Nazis" but I haven't seen a nazi in Berlin the entire time I have lived here. I assume they exist somewhere, but when I read things like the official police report for Berlin it says leftist violence is more common. People here get arrested for posting swastikas online but you see the hammer and sickle so often it doesn't even raise an eyebrow. Either 10x or 100x more people died due to communist ideology than nazi ideology and the final death count is so high we don't even know the number within 100 M people. That's insane.

Ljubljana is great. I don’t have to speak the language because I work at a multinational company in English. My Slovene friends (yes, I have friends here) always speak English with me. I try to learn Slovenian out of respect, but these people have already treated me perfectly. Ljubljana doesn’t stink, Berlin does.
People in London are generally pretty friendly. People in Berlin suck dick. Weather in London is bad but at least it's not below freezing half the year. Berlin weather sucks all year except for 2 weeks in summer. There are probably fewer acid attacks in Berlin (for now).
London is nice for a holiday. The Londoners that move to Berlin will tell you that it's a bland and regulated financial city and the only time people enjoy themselves is when they go to drink at an expensive fancy bar, wearing expensive business clothes. Funny how Germans are all up in arms about the black guy in Minneapolis but fail to realise Germany's really weird statistics involving excessive police brutality. But let me quote the U.S. Department of State lest ye think I am making this up:

But like everything in Germany: Good marketing and bad access to statistics means no one here is living in reality.
