How long have you been here? I too think that a lot of the issues with Berlin apply elsewhere in Germany. My neighbors have seen many foreigners come and go and understand why I haven't enjoyed it so much. The following is a list of highlights of my time here, and it's by no means exhaustive:

In the past 2 days I have had two motorists scold me for crossing on red because both times they approached the ffucking light without looking and I had to walk so gosh darn slow that the light turned. Just moved to this f***hole Germany and the assholes in my HR department are saying I have to show Meldebescheinigung, I have only been here 1.5 months and they have a 2 week notice on the contract so there is no way I am tying myself to a property to get fired by these passive-aggressive, bullying employers in this country. I only have to technically register after 3 Months right? My impressions of Germans so far: greedy, incompetent, passive-aggressive, idiotic. And this is not just Berlin but country-wide.... I wont be tying myself to any real-estate here anytime soon, as that seems to be the trick. They like to tie you to a apartment, so they can f*** you at work.
I was there for 8 years and never had anyone ever come to check if I live at the address I gave them. As long as you can get your mail at an address is all your need. It just gets worse and worser and worserer. Go somewhere else. Try a rich city. I've herad that the banking Frankfurt s much better than what people thnk it is because a lot of the people who rubiish it are Berlin types, you know, fake anarchsts, but there's plenty of money available there for big thinkers and also proper wages and lot of real cultural acivities an real artists.

I understand how you feel. I think you need to set a limit to the amount of crap you are willing to take. Some of us expats reach this point quicker than others. Others live in a bubble and don't really understand what we're going through. There are nice people to be met, but I would say that most of my experiences and interactions have been negative, or have left me thinking 'lol, what the f... was that about?'.
As far as living/working arrangements go, I think you have it figured out. It's best not to lock yourself into anything permanent at this point. I was luck enough to get a month by month contract in a four-share wohnung (apartment). This means that rent is reasonable and that only a month's notice would be needed if I decide to bail. You can find good options on the wg-gesucht website, anything from 2 weeks to two/three months without lengthy contracts, bonds, advances or any of that crap I can't as much insight into the actual work side of things as the foreigners office have been f....g me around for months. This is something they're pretty good at. But I guess the same thing goes, don't let them push you around or force you into anything.

Can i leave germany with my kid if the father do not have the rights on paper( he only gave him his name). I need to go away from here, i think it is horrible place to raise a kid. My kid dont care for the exciting night life, or artistic scene. I want to go on nsture out of this system. I want him to grow with diferent values. I cry, i feel stuck. There's no life here. Im not against fathers rights but since im alone and doing all all alone since ever, i guess i have right to give my kid better place.

But you have to repect his rights, the same as you would want him to expect your rights and not run off with the child. You haven't given enough details about his wishes and involvement, does he see the child regularly. This is a big problem these days, young people have been brought up with popular lefty values of not understanding what responsibility is anymore, so if he is not taking his repsonsibilities seriously, then maybe you could just go somewhere that he could get to withing an hour or two drive, I'm sure the courts would not consider that unreasonable.
Maybe form a group somehow of other PARENTS, not just MOTHERS, and see how they are tackling it.
I really wish for you to find a way out of this bind that doesn't cause any harm to your child. I think if he is not seein the child, and you move within a reasonable distance and he goes for a year or so without seeing the child, you would have a case in the courts that he is no longer in he childs life, which would make he child feel even worse knowing that it's own father doesn't want to see it.
I really wish for you to have your happiness back. But get legal advice, don't do a runner, because if he complains, and they catch you, you might lose access to your child. Threat this very seripusly and with a level head. Maybe move to a new area first that is more normal and family oriented.

I know it is difficult situation and deep inside me i know it is not fair to not see the father, but i just dont feel happy and i fear for the future if i staybhere. Mynkid is 3 years old and the father see him 2 weekends in the month, but only because he the father preferes to have the two weekends.
