Had the same scenario. Came to Berlin from UK ( I am from Eastern EU) and got into a job that was nightmare in terms of environment, people etc. Got rid of that quickly after I was bullied that I won’t be successful because EE, not good enough, high expectations etc etc. Got my mental strenght full power and in a week I found a 2x paid job in a international environment where I actually feel appreciated and valued for my skills... Berlin is really full of racist idiots thinking they’re better than everyone else. But they’re not at all.

Is Berlin dangerous? When walking around I feel like some parts of the city are dangerous. People on the train often give me dirty looks for no reason. Sometimes youths yell things at me in German that I don't understand and once a guy stood in front of a train station exit and said something to me trying to provoke me. How often do people here get assaulted?
