Istanbul is a beautiful city. Don't think I'd want to actually live there, but I visit sometimes and always enjoy it. Too many Muslims for my taste still, although it's obviously much better than the rest of the country in this respect and a lot of Muslim retardation has been pushed out of there thankfully.
I work in a very 'hip' industry. Whenever I attend conferences or industry meet-ups it's always the same sight: German men, visibly older than 35, dress like 15-year-olds. I assume they don't want to come across as too old for the industry. Interestingly, I have not observe this in any other country. In other countries men dress more age-appropriately. They don't necessarily wear suits, rather just a clean shirt, fitting trousers, and nice shoes.
It's quite comical to see a man with visible wrinkles and hair loss dress like a skater boy from the 90s in a professional setting.

If you pay Stufe 1 Tax, your net income is like 3250€. If you would like in big or mid size cities like Mainz, Münster, the 1 Zimmer Wohnung costs 1000€ kalt + other monthly fixed expenses + groceries will leave you with 50€ daily disposible income. If you want to have more than 1 Zimmer, you would easily pay 1500€ for living. (If you can find a permanent place to live without zwischenmiete)
Why would I keep living in this country by knowing, I can earn much more in countries like US, UK or Netherlands with objectively better social life and sane people. What do they expect from foreign workers? Should we all assume that how much lucky we are to live in Germany?
