Read this below, it's worth another post, very funny reply: New hobby: on the streets randomly saying a smiley HELLO to germans as soon as they start to stare at you as they always do. Try that and watch the confused faces. You can clearly see how the CPU of their robotic software is overloaded

Why are Germans so fearful? A normal, comfortable person isn't that uptight and awkward.

The hardest thing for me to get used to in Berlin was when walking with a friend and they'd bump into their friend on the street and have a conversation and not introduce you to them. Very strange.

How can Germans be so freaking stupid? "Bro I've never seen broken bottles in the city but if there were any it would have been done by tourists and if it wasn't tourists it would have been done by teenagers and well by teenager I mean anyone under 30 and well if it happened then it must have been an accident because there is no one aggressive or uncivilized in Berlin and hey if you don't like it here then move back to San Francisco". What a bunch of monkeys.

Jesus, look at the amount of discussion about how all the broken bottles are probably an accident. What a bunch of imbeciles. Now maybe they can explain to us how it's actually polite that Germans don't offer you food when you're a guest in their house.

What's up with Berlin thots wearing freaking Dr. Martens in 35 С? Are they doing in on purpose to make themselves as ugly and stinky as possible (which seems to be the case with all German women) or they're simply too broke to afford a good pair of summer shoes?

Institutionalized racism, in education mostly. Mediocre germans are taking better notes, than better migrants in the examinations. Underlying and well hidden racism, is the worst of all forms of discrimination. The rest is just gaslighting.

German students are better evaluated, cuz they're germans, than their migrant co-students. That includes better chances, more feedback provided by the teachers, more affinity. Your "Leistung" and motivation in the classroom, is playing the least significant role if you're coming from another country, and not being born in Germany. Have I done my self clear???

Gotta be honest, I thought I was back in the 80s when I saw that exams in Germany are graded without first hiding the students' names. Add to that the stupid German grading system that is 100% subjective and it's a glorified popularity contest.

2 of 3 people agree with this
  Anonymous wrote:

i think it depends on the subject ie if it is a written exam or project. Obviously witg projects it is more subjective. But yes i have definitely noticed a lot of getting on has to do with sucking up. And the way people are treated has to do with their accent or "normalness" which is generally regarded to be as hochdeutsch-speaking and German as possible. But thats the system and it is a good lesson for life because unfortunately at work it is not all about intelligence either but how well you play the game

4 of 5 people agree with this
  Anonymous wrote:

like in projects you will have people who do no work and then take all the glory by doing the presentation. Or people who communicate a lot and pretend to have done things but then stand you up when there is a deadline. Same way you get managers who do nothing and are totally incompetent but get away with blagging everything because they are an older white male and people assume they know everything. Total b*llshit but life aint fair is it

8 of 10 people agree with this
  Anonymous wrote:

Still, working environment systemic has nothing to do with evaluation based on racist profiling. It's not a "life is sometimes unfair" thing. It's about plain, straightforward, but at the same time well constructed (in terms of not being possible to doubt it, cuz of evaluation) discrimination. Its exactly the same of being a woman and getting less salary than your male counterparts, because you're a woman or/and migrant.

Why are Germans so fat? They eat like beggars most of the time. At work they almost all eat prepackaged salads from Rewe and at dinner they eat cold bread with cheese and butter. How the hell do they get so effing fat?

They're born that way. It's embedded in their DNA. For proof, look no further than the footage from the Adolf Eichmann trial. Some of the witnesses collapsed in the courtroom while giving their testimonies. He just sat there and didn't even flinch in very typical German fashion. Germans make me sick to my stomach.
