Why do Germans think their education system is so great? All I hear is about how difficult regular school here is and how you have to be really smart to get Abitur. Well I'm from America and Germans have told me for years how much worse our school system is, but strangely when I went to university here I was among the best in my classes for almost all subjects. I never once had the feeling I was missing any prerequisite knowledge. I didn't have to catch up to speed in any subject. There was actually never even a brief moment that I didn't understand what was being discussed.

Oh, and in high school I wasn't even a good student. I took a couple of advanced classes because teachers talked me into it, but I wasn't particularly good at them and I never studied. I don't feel like I'm naturally smart. I just feel like Germans are big liars, that school here is not hard and that university standards here are very poor.

Also, I feel that Germans, unlike most other nationalities, are unable to admit that there is anything about Germany that is sub-optimal. There's no self-awareness among most of them. And the thing that annoys me most of all is when they act like they are victims. If any nation were ever NOT a victim it's Germany. Once I asked a German why they don't have free speech and he told me "because the U.S. drafted the anti-hate-speech laws after WW2." How can someone, with a straight face, claim that Germany's been unable to fix that glaring problem in 70 years?

I was born and raised in a developing country where income gap is huge between people. I was in the lucky side and I managed to get great education, did learn foreign language etc. Anyways, I came Germany to study my masters. It was one of the STEM major and It was entirely delivered in English.

My initial assumption was university could be harder than my native country, This was not the case. I have learnt almost nothing new during my studies here. I was expecting to get decent education but all I was doing, writing papers in English and holding presentations in various subjects in order to pass the classes. It felt like English language school rather than a university class.Plus, exams were not even moderately hard. It was like, at the begining of each class huge pdf / ppt was uploaded into university Intranet and you supposed to read It by yourself. No actual discussion, education or something challenging

Well one thing that Germans apparently do throughout their entire school life are dictations. They just sit and write down exactly what the teacher says and slowly repeats. When I first heard about that I thought it was a joke. But they do them from around 13 until they graduate from school. I'm surprised they don't do them in their Ausbildungen and at university.

@ person from developing country: I agree. I also did a Master's degree here in Berlin in English and the way you describe it sounds really similar to what I experienced. Also, regarding exams, the professors almost always gave us past exams with the exact same kinds of questions that would be on our real exam. I also had courses where 90% of the final grade was just based on a 15 minute presentation. And the last point I want to make is that Germans don't take plagiarism seriously at all. In my home country if you get caught plagiarizing your final paper you will be kicked out of university. Here I knew at least 2 people who got caught plagiarizing and the only punishment was having to write a new paper on a new topic. I think I even remember hearing you can get caught two times before they can even consider kicking you out.

Oh, boy. Back in my home country, we almost always had to solve exercises that were never explained by anyone beforehand. Not during classes, not during labs, anywhere. We had to figure out things for ourselves. There were also questions that required deep knowledge of each subject. Finally, plagiarism was a big no-no and you’d have to start all over again or get kicked out.
Then I came to Germany and had a hard time finding a job because “I studied in ausland and they don’t know if that university is reliable or not”. Seriously???! I gtfo

For whatever reason they can't speak English well, It is same reason for foreigners don't speak German as well. It is not hard to understand but welcome to Germany. You just need to leave your cognitive abilities out of you in order to live in this country

Not much nature in a big city and it's probably good for relaxing to look at green stuff. Anyway a guy walked by pushing an older woman in a wheelchair. She seemd disabled BUT she smiled at me. Just a friendly, genuine smile. I smiled back. Felt good. Sad that the only people in Berlin who can do that, simply smile a friendly "hello", are disabled. Otherwise German society beats that right out of you immediately.

Not sure of a company, but if overseas, by ship. If in Europe, take the stuff to Poland and send it from there by post. Compare Poland and German rates online. Might be cheaper if you can get it to Hamburg a port city. Where are you sending it to.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use DHL. Have a look here and compare with others online. www.sevenseasworldwide.com/shipping/shipping-to-destinations/australia/ Depending on how much you are sending, it might be cheaper to rail it and send it from London, very competitive rates there.

They've all been brainwashed by men-hating Feminists at universities. They put careers before children and family. The main reason a man needs a woman is to have a family, including nurturing of those children, but these days people are so addicted to eating out, status symbols, fancy cars and luxury holidays, that they need two incomes to keep up with the Schultzes, so they shove their babies into day 'care' centres, these babies then grow up to become emotional retards.

This is why so many men with any sense are going MGTOW, no need for marriage anymore because the idea of family is dead. Now we have homosexuals and virtue-signally 'teachers', in schools telling these children that it's OK and normal to be trans-sexual and homosexual. This is the beginning of the end of western dominance, and the reason they need to open the borders to camel jockeys, because they have zero-population growth. It's also what has bred the AntiFa phenomenon, they are the neglected children of these status seeking so-called parents.

When these career women retire, within two days, all the people in their company forget they ever worked there, and they slink off into a lonely existence and their children have grown up with no sense of responsibility to family and just shove them into old people's homes, or heir children jus use them as free baby-sitters.

In other words, Germany is totally phucked.
