And paying graduates 10% more than minimum wage... it's possible only when education costs the individual absolutely nothing. If there were anything resembling a free market in Germany then salaries like these wouldn't even be thinkable for full-time jobs.
You don't get any support like wohngeld or hartz iv if you have a minimum wage job, that's why it sucks so hard but I do know about the wage supplementation you're talking about. Especially places like startups get no support because Germany is so technophobe.
Anyway, there are enough relatively high paying jobs to be had.
